In plain wordsIf you use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or another assistant, you can ask it to "book a Croutons call for next Tuesday afternoon." It can see our prices and open times and make the booking without guessing.
croutons.ai exposes the same booking tools three ways: WebMCP in the browser, a public MCP endpoint, and a JSON API. All three read one catalog, so prices and times always match the page.

1 · WebMCP (in the browser)
Every page registers the tools above with navigator.modelContext when the browser supports it. The booking form also carries declarative toolname and toolparamdescription attributes, so an agent can fill it as a typed tool instead of guessing at fields.

Streamable HTTP, JSON-RPC 2.0, no key needed. Add it to any MCP client:

Rules that keep the calendar fair
- Human bookings pass a Cloudflare Turnstile check and are confirmed at once.
- Agent bookings are held for 60 minutes and confirmed when the attendee clicks the email link.
- One pending booking per email at a time; light per-IP rate limits apply.
- All times are ISO 8601 in UTC. Business hours are set in America/Los_Angeles.
Agent questions
How can an AI agent book a call on this site?
Three ways: WebMCP tools registered in the browser page, the public MCP endpoint at https://croutons.ai/mcp, or the JSON API described in /openapi.json. All three use the same prices and calendar.
Does the agent need an API key?
No. Reading prices, sessions and availability is open. Booking needs a name and email; the booking is held and confirmed by a link sent to that email.
Are there rate limits?
Yes, light ones to keep the calendar fair: booking requests are limited per email and per IP address. Reading endpoints are cached and generous.
